The youth prize contest is managed by the Global Network of Water Museums to explore worldwide our rich and multifaceted water heritage from the perspective of young people. The contest is open to schools, learning institutions and civil society organizations, and includes two age categories. Students of primary education (6-12 years old) and secondary education (13-18 years old) are invited to submit their entries among the following types of work: drawings, pictures, videos, creative writings, sounds and soundscape, as it is detailed in the Call and Terms & Conditions for participation.
All participants must send their artworks through the members of the Global Network of Water Museums.
After the 1st competition (2020), a communication campaign was implemented in English, Chinese and Spanish with 22 professional videos aimed at promoting more sustainable water uses on a global scale and the SDGs.
